Later on in the night, you see 50 wearing Slow Bucks’ chain.

It comes as it’s revealed Kim is reportedly planning a property renovation business with her husband Kanye.

The couple spent $11 million on a Bel Air mansion last June but have not yet moved in as they have been making improvements to the property and are now said to have decided to sell it on at a huge profit once work has finished.

Beyonce and Jay Z are taking steps to save their marriage amidst growing reports that they could be heading for a divorce.

According to the Daily Mirror, hip-hop’s royal couple has turned to a well known marriage counsellor for help while on tour.

“It might sound drastic but in America especially, counselling is fairly standard procedure,” a source said.

Former Death Row bossman Suge Knight was reportedly shot twice last night (Aug. 23) at the 1Oak nightclub in West Hollywood.

The 49-year-old outspoken rap mogul (born Marion Knight Jr.) was in attendance at a pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown. Shots allegedly rang out at about 1:30 a.m. (PT) at the Sunset Strip hotspot. Knight was shot in the stomach and arm, according to TMZ.

“Suge walked out on his own power … a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat. Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital,” the site also reports.

Model Tyson Beckford and Black Eyed Peas’ apl.de.ap were among those in attendance. Rapper The Game was also seen at the entrance of 1Oak, where he was denied entry into the party. Reports say that he left the nightclub, but that members of his entourage stayed behind. This incident had not been connected to the shooting.

Knight was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where he is undergoing surgery. He was apparently one of three victims shot. The gravity of his injuries, nor the cause of the shooting has been detailed thus far.

On August 31, 2014, a collection of almost 200 private pictures of various celebrities—mostly consisting of women, and with many containing nudity, were posted on the image board 4chan, and later disseminated by other users on websites and social networks such as Imgur, Reddit and Tumblr. The images were believed to have been obtained via a breach of Apple’s cloud services suite iCloud. Apple later confirmed that the hackers responsible for the leak had obtained the images using a “very targeted attack” on account information, such as passwords, rather than any specific security vulnerability in the iCloud service itself.

The event, which media outlets and Internet users referred to under names such as “Celebgate” and “The Fappening”, was met with a varied reaction from the media and fellow celebrities. Critics felt that the distribution of the images was a major invasion of privacy for their subjects, while some of the allegedly depicted subjects questioned their authenticity. The leak also prompted increased concern from analysts surrounding the privacy and security of cloud computing services such as iCloud—with a particular emphasis on their use to store sensitive, private information.

Luda’s rep confirms  that he was married over the holidays, and the rapper himself announced the big news via Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 6, posting a photo of him and his bride on the day of their “I dos.”

Kendrick Lamar shared his thoughts on recent police killings in an interview with Billboard magazine, and Azealia Banks doesn’t agree with his stance on the situation. At all.

Lamar, who nabbed the cover story in the Jan. 17 issue of Billboard, was asked by the magazine’s Gavin Edwards about law enforcement and the black community in 2014, specifically the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. Both died at the hands of police officers, leading to protests across the country.

“I wish somebody would look in our neighborhood knowing that it’s already a situation, mentally, where it’s f—ked up,” Lamar, who admitted he has been treated unfairly by cops “plenty of times,” said. “What happened to [Michael Brown] should’ve never happened. Never. But when we don’t have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don’t start with just a rally, don’t start from looting — it starts from within.”

After Billboard’s piece was published, Banks took to Twitter and slammed Lamar.

Last month, Banks made headlines for her feud with Iggy Azalea in regards to the “Fancy” rapper’s cultural appropriation, exploitation of the hip-hop community, and silence following Brown and Garner’s deaths.

When the subject of the Australian star came up during his Billboard interview, Lamar refused to knock her.

“She’s doing her thing,” the Compton, California native said of Azalea. “Let her. People have to go through trials and tribulations to get where they at. Do your thing, continue to rock it, because obviously God wants you here.”

The 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards took place over the weekend. Richard Linklater’s 12-years-in-the-making drama Boyhood is took top prizes at the annual awards. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association named the film Best Motion Picture Drama and Linklater Best Director at Sunday nights star-studded event.

Meanwhile John Legend and Common took home the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for “Glory,” from Selma. In his acceptance, Legend says hes proud of the movie, which still resonates today. He added that he hopes people also find meaning in the song that goes beyond the film. Prince presented the award to Legend and Common, who are marking their first Golden Globe win with the event. In his acceptance, Common says being part of the Selma helped him rediscover his humanity, and see how the past and present are connected.

The hip-hop community is mourning the loss of a beloved member of A$AP Mob. A$AP Yams, a notable figure in rap circles, has passed away. He was 26 years old. Details on the cause of death are unknown.

On Sunday (Jan. 18), fellow rhymer A$AP Ferg went on Instagram to pay tribute to his brother from another mother.

“You will be missed Bro. We done touched a lot of ground together, landed on a lot of different soil!!! You will always be loved & your spirit will live on!!! #asapmob #asapferg #asapworldwide #yams,” he wrote.

A$AP Rocky also posted a picture of Yams on his Instagram account. “R.I.P YAMS, I LOVE YOU BROTHER,” reads the caption.

A$AP Yams, whose real name is Steven Rodriguez, is one of the co-founders of A$AP Mob along with A$AP Bari and A$AP Illz, followed by Rocky and Ferg. As a teenager, Yams started in the music business as an intern for Diplomats Records and later started managing local producers.

In 2011, Yams created a Tumblr to post music and videos from the A$AP Mob crew. One of the clips, Rocky’s ‘Purple Swag,’ went viral on the Internet and garnered a huge buzz in the rap industry. It would later help secure music contracts for Rocky and Ferg and a distribution deal for A$AP Worldwide with RCA Records. Yams is credited for developing the group’s style and overall aesthetic.

In a 2012 VIBE interview, Yams describes himself as a consigliere to Rocky, Ferg and the rest of the Mob.

“My role is everything that comes out from Rocky or anything we make I put stamp of approval on it,” he said. “That’s from a musical standpoint to a business standpoint. I make sure everything is right.”

Although Yams’ death is unclear, according to Miss Info, Yams was known to use codeine and Xanax heavily.

Last summer, the young Harlem native briefly went into rehab to battle his drug addiction. “That lean s— corny now i apologize for even glorifying that bulls— its embarrassing it destroyed too many lives,” Yams wrote on Twitter in July. “Its disrespectful to the families who lost loved ones to that demon for us to be flaunting that addiction rip pimp c.”

Sadly or ironically, Yams last tweet was related to codeine.

Upon hearing the tragic news of A$AP Yams death, rappers went on Twitter to express their condolences (see below).

We want to send our heartfelt prayers and condolences to Yams’ family and the whole A$AP Mob crew. May he rest in peace.

New Kids on the Block really will be loving us forever.

The 1980s-era boyband announced on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning that they will be going on tour this summer with fellow nostalgic favorites TLC and Nelly.

“We are bringing with us the biggest girl group in the history of music,” Donnie Wahlberg explained. “This is such a great bill and we have so many hit records and such huge followings that we just want to make it the party of the year. That’s why we call it ‘The Main Event.’ It’s going to be the event of the year.”

And for what the Kids are calling “the most elaborate” tour of their career, they plan to make it an experience fans will not soon forget.

“We’ve built bar seats around the stage so our fans can literally sit right on the stage and converse with us and we can share their snacks and drinks if we want to,” Donnie added. “It’s going to be incredible. It’s got lifts and pop ups and all types of amazing things.”

It appears the rift between Lil Wayne and Cash Money continues to grow larger and possibly one step closer to the courts, as previously predicted.

TMZ’s reporting that ongoing settlement talks between both sides have broken down and now Wayne’s ready to go to the legal route to gain not only the rights to release Tha Carter V but also $8 million he claims he’s owed.

Weezy’s stance is Cash Money, and label head Birdman, are in violation of the existing contract between the two by not allowing the rapper to release the project. As such, Wayne will also seek to be freed from his contract, thus Birdman’s control. The dollar figure represents the advance money associated with the album.

Throughout the duration of their disagreement, Wayne assertion’s been that Cash Money’s holding both him and the album hostage. He first referenced it in a series of tweets in early December, which were immediately followed by him addressing it on stage during a show in New York days later. Since then, both his manager Cortez Bryant and Young Money president Mack Maine have spoken publicly regarding the situation, denouncing Cash Money’s decision to hold back the album.

For his part, Birdman hasn’t addressed the situation publicly, but it’s said that he was pretty pissedat Tune’s decision to air out their grievances publicly and lyrically on Sorry 4 The Wait 2.

While everything seems to hinge on the album, there’s definitely more to the story lurking underneath. If this whole set of circumstances goes to court, Cash Money’s alleged dirty laundry accumulated over the years could become public record. We’ve seen various other producers and artists sue over unpaid work and heard stories about how unscrupulous their dealings could be through others.

But with Lil Wayne saying it, those claims could take on a lot more weight.

Lil Wayne wants out of Cash Money, and he’s taking Drake and Nicki Minaj with him.

The Young Money chief plans to sue Birdman for his release from Cash Money, and also claims that Birdman owes him an $8 million advance for his album Tha Carter V.

In addition to demanding money, TMZ reports that Wayne will sue Birdman to ensure that Young Money’s artists remain under his control.

In addition to Drake and Nicki, this includes the rest of the Young Money roster—Christina Milian, Lil Twist, and Mack Maine, who doubles as the label’s president.

Weezy believes the artists should go with him because their contracts are with Young Money.

Cash Money has a distribution deal with all of Young Money’s acts. The issue will likely have to be settled in court, but Wayne is adamant about taking his crew with him.

He also seems confident about Drake and Nicki’s loyalty to him. On his remix to “CoCo” off his mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait 2, he boasts, “I ain’t trippin’, I got Barbie, I got Drake too.”

11:45 AM PT — There are reports that Bobbi Kristina was taken off life support … but TMZ has been told by sources close to the family that these claims are absolutely false. We are also told that Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother Cissy has still not seen her but plans are in place to get her to Emory University Hospital as soon as possible. There’s nothing more doctors can do for Bobbi Kristina — and they’ve told Bobby Brown it’s time to withdraw life support … TMZ has learned. Family sources tell us the decision is now in Brown’s hands — but we’re told he’s refusing to make the painful choice today, and instead wants to wait until after the weekend.   The timing could not have been worse. Today is Bobby Brown’s birthday. We’re told Brown has been hopeful his daughter can beat the odds because someone in his extended family battled out of a coma after 8 days. Bobbi Kristina was moved to Emory University Hospital Tuesday because the facility has a world class neurological department, but it appears doctors have determined there’s no hope. Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically-induced coma since Saturday, when she was found face down in her bathtub.

Former Hot Boy Turk looks to sue Cash Money for unpaid royalties.

As a former member of Hot Boys, Turk’s fortunes didn’t exactly pan out like Lil Wayne’s after the group fell apart. It looks like him and Weezy still have a few things in common though, because they’re both looking to sue Cash Money. With Wayne currently asking Birdman’s label for some $51 million in damages related to a delayed Carter V release date, Turk’s suit pales in comparison, but is still pretty substantial.

TMZ reports that he’s asking for $1.3 million in unpaid royalties. According to the gossip site, Turk is claiming that Birdman and Co. did some “shady accounting” and didn’t disclose his full earnings. Lil Wayne, he’s also asking that his Cash Money contract be voided.
