CeeLo Green Charged With Ecstasy Possession, Cleared Of Sexual Assault

CeeLo Green’s red chair on The Voice is safe after the singer was cleared of his sexual assault charge.

Earlier this year the Los Angeles District Attorney charged CeeLo with sexual assault after a woman claimed that he slipped ecstasy in her drink and had sex with her.

The woman claimed that she and Ceelo Green went on a date at a sushi bar in Los Angeles last year where he slipped the drug in her drink. She claimed the next thing she knew she woke up in his bed naked.

According to TMZ, the L.A. County D.A. rejected the sexual assault case this morning because of insufficient evidence. The woman also said she and CeeLo was involved in an intimate relationship months before the incident.

The Los Angeles District D.A. will be charging CeeLo with furnishing ecstasy which is a felony
